A rather classy outfit to show my professor that I'm a classy lady and that I take my studies serious :-)
Oooooh, exams.. What's not good about it?

2 down, still 6 more to go!

My sister got back home from London this weekend, she had been doing her internship there for the last 4 months. She got me and my family some awesome gifts! I got this book by Amanda Brooks, with a lot of tips and quotes and just beautiful pictures :-) I can't wait to start reading it! I love reading books about fashion and this one is  perfect to expand my collection.

She bought the book in the amazing store "Anthropologie" in London. This store is just so beautiful. If you ever go to London, this one is definitely worth a visit. It's located in Regent Street and you can't miss it. The building is just so beautiful and the decoration inside is really unique. For example, they have this wall with grass, they call it "the vertical garden". I found some pictures to show you the decorations of the store, but in real life it's even more beautiful :-)

PS: It's my sister's birthday today actually! Happy birthday :-)

I know this trend has been here for a while but I still love it! I think, if you you use the right material, design, and color of jeans, you can make a perfect look. Although, I've seen a couple of, how I like to call them, 'failures': people who would like to pull off this trend, but there's something just not right about their look. It's definitely not that easy to look this glamorous in the double denim-trend :-)

I just love wearing burgundy pants! This one from Forever 21, is my ultimate favorite jeans, even after one year :-) I love the shape and the details and it's one of the most flattering ones I own.

I don't get to go out much these days due to some heavy studying, like most of you out there. So for me (and I know I'm not the only one), going to the supermarket during these few weeks, is like going on an adventure! Unfortunately a very short one, so I come up with other "obligations" so I can avoid having to study :-) Taking pictures of the outfit, going for a walk with the dog, taking pictures of the dog,.. I pretty much use every excuse to avoid my room :-)

Good luck everyone out there! I will light a candle for all of you
(hey, that will probably take a while -> another excuse, jippie! :-))

PS: I did have a photo shoot with my dog, a result: (handsome boy, isn't he? :-))

Wow, I'm so behind on posting outfits! I wore this look (and I took these pictures) last week. The weather back then was so deceiving: when you looked outside the window, you'd think it was quite warm and you could go out without a jacket. But when you would do that, you'd freeze your ass off! It felt like winter had started all over again! (I even read in the newspaper that it was snowing in some parts of Belgium, crazy!!)

But hey, you don't hear me complaining! The more I can wear my March 23-sneakers, the happier I am! :-) (Ok, enough about the sneakers, I know! This is the last time I will describe my looooove for them ;-))

I know I'm supposed to be studying right now but I couldn't resist! I just had to find out what the actresses are wearing at the Cannes Film Festival. These gowns and dresses are just so beautiful.
Not to mention the awesome fact that our very own Matthias Schoenaerts is Marion Cotillards accessory on the red carpet this year! So in a way, I was obliged to watch it and see how he's doing!

These are a couple of my favorite looks this year. (Is it obvious that I love Diane Kruger's style? ;-))

1. Diane Kruger in Calvin Klein Collection - Marion Cotillard in Christian Dior
2. Freida Pinto in Atelier Versace - Diane Kruger in Versus
3. Diane Kruger in Giambattista Valli - Jessica Chastain in Alexander McQueen
