MIA'S 2012

I went to the Music Industry Awards on Saturday evening. I had a great time, the performances were really good! I always like this award show because you have to go really fancy :-) Great excuse to wear beautiful dresses that are otherwise just hanging in your closet. To  me, the highlight of the evening was the performance of Netsky. Too bad he didn't win 'Hit of the Year'.

So sorry for the bad quality of these pictures! My camera is still broken but I'm hoping to get good present for Christmas :-) Or hopefully I have saved enough money to fix it as soon as possible, because this situation is just toooo annoying!

IN WITH THE NEW

I got myself a new pair of shoes, high top wedge sneakers to be exact :-) My March 23 ones are still one of my favorites, but I must be honest, these shoes are some fierce competition!

I saw them on the website last weekend and I just had to have them. Even though I'm going to London again in a couple of months, I couldn't wait. I came home this Friday and there they were, already waiting for me to unpack. They are super cute and the inside is extremely soft. I will be wearing these a lot, I can tell you that :-)

PS: as you can probably see in the pictures (especially in the last two :-)), I'm ill. Perfect timing to get the flu...

ELBOW PATCH

I got this sweater a couple of weeks ago, perfect for this kind of weather. I wore my new heels again. I don't think I will taking them off the next few weeks. So prepare to see them A LOT on the blog :-)

GIRLY WITH A TWIST

They have finally arrived, the last couple of days I will be stuck behind my desk, studying for my resits.. Even though I only had a few exams I needed to take again, I am sick of it! This weekend especially! It's Maanrock, a free festival, today and tomorrow in the city I live near. I always go, it's actually the first time in maybe 7 or 8 years I won't be going..

I hope Tuesday will be here quick so I can finally have a good night's sleep AND I will be going to the Belgian seaside for a couple of days. :-) Can't wait!

PEPLUM, NEON AND PYTHON

I finally had an occasion to wear these awesome shoes! I've had them for over a month and all I could do was just admire them in my closet :-) I've been working this month, student jobs. And those require a uniform, so no fancy looks for me lately..

THE PINK BLAZER

Wearing my new "barbie-ish" blazer! I love how the zippers toughen it up, but the pink still keeps it very feminine and soft :-)

BLACK AND WHITE

Another black and white outfit, with a couple of color pops. I've had these shorts for a couple of months now, but I never got the chance to wear them because of the awful weather we've been having here in Belgium. But on this first (and probably the only one in the near future) summer's day, I instantly new what to take out of my closet for a spin :-)

I actually bought the bag already in sale last week, half priced! NICE!

ELECTRIC BLUE

I just love these shorts :-) Not only is the color super cool, but the fabric is super soft! I've got a feeling I'll be wearing these a lot this summer.
