This just cracks me up!! It's obvious where the hairstylists got their inspiration for the Oscar-hairdo's :-)

What did you think of the Oscars this year? Did you like the outfits? I loved Gwyneth Paltrow in Tom Ford! Minimalism at its best :-) Milla Jovovich and Michelle Williams were my favorites too.

SPRING IS IN THE AIR

Saturday was the first time this year I could wear ballet flats :-) Spring is in the air and I can't wait for warmer days to come!

I had to work that day so I kept it simple.

I actually stole this idea for the photo from the beautiful Chiara. So sorry, but it's way too cool! I just had to try it myself :-)

These shoes are so cool! They have an Isabel Marant-feeling but also Balenciaga made a design like this (just leather at the back of the shoe :-)) I already know I'll be wearing these A LOT!

LAST COUPLE OF DAYS

London was, as usual, fantastic!! That city never lets me down :-)

What are you looking at?

1. This house had a beautiful front! I love the colors they used. 
2. The best cupcakes! This little shop is actually next to the apartment building where my sister is staying for the next 4 months. 
3. Another cool decoration of a wall :-) 
4. Best fish and chips ever! I'm not an expert, I've only ate f&c a couple of times before but these were sooooo good :-) And the decoration of the little 'restaurant' was so cute! It was like we went back in time, to the late '40s! (Poppies of  Spitalfields! If you should ever be around Spitalfields, I highly recommend going there :-))
5. I also went to Somerset House, hoping to spot some celebs but unfortunately we were almost totally alone at the place and it was freezing!! So we decided not to wait for the shows to end.. Maybe we'll have more luck next year :-)

Can't wait to go back there! (ok, it's already in a couple of weeks, I don't have any reason to complain :-))

I'm going to London again for a couple of days, mainly visiting my sister but hopefully spot some celebs too at London Fashion Week! I already charged the battery of my camera so I'm ready for some action :-)

THE RESULT

The result of my visit to the hairdresser's :-) I'm kind of pleased with it! Now I just have to learn how to do this! I'm glad she didn't have to cut off too much since my hair was a little bit damaged :-)


Btw: it's kind of obvious that I still have to practice in taking pictures in front of a mirror, isn't it? :-)

ON MY WAY...

to the hairdresser as we speak.. I'm kind of freaking out! I hope they will do what I ask them to do, for once :-(

A. CITY LIFE

I went to A. City Life yesterday, a fair about interior design and gastronomy. There was also a fashion show. The clothes were not really my thing (fur in the summer?) but luckily there were also some hot male models to focus on :-)

This week of school is finally over but work is piling up again..

To my new items! We only did a couple of stores in London. Topshop, of course, was one of them :-)
You've already seen my lovely new coat, but here are some of the other items I purchased in the best city in the world!
I didn't buy the shoes in London, but in Antwerp last week. However, since I'm doing a "New in"-post right now, I figured: Hey, why not put my shoes in the picture too? :-)
