NEXT YEAR IN ANTWERP

I'm also super duper excited because I signed the contract for my student room a couple of days before I went to Italy! I'll be living in Antwerp again for a whole year. We've been looking for rooms to let for weeks and you can't believe what types we've seen! A lot of dirty and disgusting rooms and most of them were waaaay too small (kitchen in the bathroom!). I always wonder if those landlords would live in their rooms themselves, I really don't think they would! But I finally found a perfect room, just 6min from my school AND 3 minutes away from the MEIR!!! :-) I've already spent 2 years in student accommodation but never this close to my school and never a room this big!

These pictures were taken in my street in Antwerp actually, the red house belongs to my neighbours :-) I'm already decorating the room in my head, but unfortunately we still have to wait a couple of weeks before we get the key. I still need to sort things out with the blog too, like who's going to take my pictures when I'm in Antwerp? Normally it's one of my sisters or my parents who is entrusted with this task :-)

JUMP FOR JOY

My exams are over and I couldn't be happier! Of course some of them didn't go as planned but let's not think about that just yet :-) We decided to do some jump-pictures to show you just how happy I am ;-)

So what are you looking at?
1. An almost jump, took only 240 pictures to get this one ;-)

3 & 4. A part of me is cut off, jumping-pictures are hard to do! They're always funny, though.

TGIFF!

Thank God it's finally Friday! This week has been so hard, I've already done 4 exams, still 4 to go!
I keep in mind that the more exams I do, the closer I get to my freedom :-) So this time next week, (ok, I will probably be sleeping :-) ), but after that:  I will be shopping, watching tv (I haven't watched tv since Eurovision last week.. omg!), going out with friends, go to the fashion show of the Antwerp Fashion Academy...

Can't wait! I've already planned so much I wanna do all my exams at once :-)

BURGUNDY AND STRIPES

I just love wearing burgundy pants! This one from Forever 21, is my ultimate favorite jeans, even after one year :-) I love the shape and the details and it's one of the most flattering ones I own.

LAST DAY FILLED WITH SUNSHINE

Ooooh, how I love the sunshine and spending time with friends.. Just doing nothing, talking, laughing and drinking (a bit :-) ) I'm already looking forward to July and August. My favorite months are already filled with traveling, festivals, parties... Now all I have to do, is get through these next weeks! And hopefully with succes so that I don't have to study in August for any resits :-)

TODAY

I absolutely do not like taking pictures with flash! In my opinion, it kinda ruins the photo.
But I didn’t have a choice: these days, school is keeping me super busy! So I come home late, when it's already dark.

I wore my new shoes for the first time, they are super comfy! I already had to run to catch my bus so they past the absolute test  :-)

We went to visit my aunt and her family in Hasselt on Saturday. They moved there in August and we went to see what their house was like! Hasselt is so lovely, I'm definitely going back there soon to do some serious shopping :-)

THE BEGINNING OF FALL

Today was probably the last day I could go to school without a jacket or a coat!

Too bad, since I was already imagining we would have seasons like in the show “The OC”, where it is super warm outside on Christmas/Chrismukkah day  :-)

But indeed, it started to get weird. Hot weather like this in October? Normally I’m already wearing my (fake) fur ;-)

LAST DAY

I had dinner with friends tonight. It was awesome, as always :-)

Today was probably the last time I could wear this dress this year. As much as I love this hot weather, I’m looking forward to those cozy nights, when you're wrapped in a blanket on the sofa and watching a movie :-)
